JBF OAKS VOLUNTEERS ROCK!

Just Between Friends is run by over 350 volunteers and simply put, we love and need YOU!  For this reason, we reward our volunteers with the following:

  • SHOP 1ST AGAIN at our 50% off Presale Friday, Sept 13th!

  • Meet lots of fun JBF moms and dads!

Volunteers help with everything from event set up, inspection, organizing merchandise, running the point of sale system and breaking down the event.

Shifts are available in 4 hour increments. The more shifts you sign up for, the earlier you get to shop! The earlier you shop, the more merchandise and bargains to be had!

Pregnant or have health limitations?

Many of the tasks can be done sitting down, so nearly everyone is able to join the fun! And, by the way, if you're not able to make it we'll happily welcome your husband, brother, father (trust us, we could really use some MUSCLE!) or mother as a volunteer, and you'll still get the credit! Or volunteer together and earn double the credits!

SIGNS UPS OPEN JULY 15TH

The Volunteer schedule will open on Monday, July 15th @ 8am!  After this time, select VOLUNTEER when you SIGN UP for the event Oaks event. By selectiing the "volunteer" option, you will be able to see all the available choice for you to consider.

Please note - In an effort to give maximum earning benefit to our consignors, we accept volunteers exclusively from our consignor base. This allows our consignors to all have the opportunity to make an additional 10% on their item sales.

What to wear & bring


General:

  • Each volunteer shift is 4 hours.  You can split your shifts up according to your availability and preferences.  In other words, you do not have to cram all of your hours in one day!
  • All Volunteers must also Consign with JBF.
  • Please arrive 10 minutes early for your shift for orientation.
  • If you have a conflict after the volunteer schedule closes on line, please call or email Beth.

What to Bring & Wear:

  • We do have some snacks and drinks available in our break room.  If you have specific likes/dislikes, please feel free to bring your own refreshments.
  • Wear comfortable shoes and clothing.

Presale Passes:

  • Volunteers who consign will receive their Presale Pass at Consignor Drop Off.

Bonus Shifts:

  • Bonus Shifts are worth more! Check out our double credit shifts for times that are considered critical to the success of the event.  These double credit shifts mean a 4 hour shift =  8 hours for your presale admission time!

Power Consignors:

  • Consignors who bring 300 items or more are REQUIRED to volunteer at least 2 hours during Breakdown.  These hours do not count as volunteer credits and can be scheduled by completing the attached form.

Wednesday, Sept. 11th

  • 9:30 am - Team Leaders
  • 10:00 - 12 Hour Volunteers
  • 10:30 - 8 Hour Volunteers
  • 11:00 - 4 Hour Volunteers
  • 12pm - Consignors and 1 Friend for all Volunteers and Consignors

Most Common Questions:

Q: Can I bring a guest to the Presale?

A: Each Volunteer and Consignor will receive a pass for one guest. All guests are invited to enter the presale at 12pm. You may also spilt your volunteer credits to allow earlier entry for a friend (you work 8 hours and earn (2) 4 hour passes.

Q: Can I bring my child(ren) with me when volunteer?

A: Unfortunately, this is not permitted for the safety of your child and the need give our full attention to our customers.
